    The architectural design of the Botanical Pavilion draws inspiration from the very origin of plant life—the seed. The idea of “hidden strength, unveiled growth” symbolized by seeds as they harness their energy within the soil and then burst forth above ground, serves as both the visual motif and the soul of this architectural concept.

    As a cornerstone structure within the International Horticultural Expo Zone, the Botanical Pavilion encompasses an impressive 6,300 square meters. Its purpose extends beyond showcasing rare plant species from around the world, it also embraces an international, forward-thinking, and fashionable architectural style, delivering the message of ecological civilization and promoting a lifestyle steeped in green, eco-conscious values.

    "Foundation in Ecology, Guidance through Design"

    The design philosophy behind the Botanical Pavilion is firmly rooted in the principles of regional architecture and narrative spatial theory, serving as an experiential exploration of the narrative spatial concept "Foundation in Ecology, Guidance through Design".

    "Foundation in Ecology" underscores the vital organic relationship between the building and its environment. The architecture's form and philosophy must harmonize seamlessly with nature, taking root in the soil. It is through this grounded connection that the building, like a plant, can exude a sense of vitality, enabling it to extend and flourish more effectively.

    “Hierarchical System, Unveiled Here”

    Under the guiding philosophy of "Foundation in Ecology, Guidance through Design", the Botanical Pavilion employs a strategic design approach known as the "Hierarchical System". This innovative method involves the integration of three hierarchical systems: plant communities, ecological foundations, and narrative exhibitions. It culminates in a unique botanical exhibition space, where plants take center stage, exhibition planning drives the narrative, and the surrounding environment (the site or the land) plays a pivotal role.

    According to introducing, inside the Botanical Pavilion's greenhouse, an impressive collection of rare plant species awaits, including the Ginkgo biloba, Large-Leaf Rhododendron, Southern Hemlock, and Fragrant Tree. In terms of outdoor plant design, a variety of trees like the Liriodendron, Maple, and Elm will be abundantly planted. Interwoven with these trees are bamboo varieties like Dendrocalamus latiflorus Munro, Bambusa emeiensis, Phyllostachys nigra Munro, and Bambusa multiplex, complemented by shrubs such as Camellia and Forsythia, as well as herbaceous plants like Hosta plantaginea (Lam.) Aschers., Sedum lineare Thunb., and Heuchera micrantha.

    During exhibitions, the Botanical Pavilion serves as a showcase for these rare plant treasures, with a standout feature being the immersive botanical restaurant, where floral artistry takes center stage. Beyond exhibitions, the pavilion can transform into a tranquil forest-themed bridal photography venue, equipped with VR digital displays and facilities for botanical research.
