Recently, the Jiangxi Three-Lanes Bridge project at the main venue of the Expo 2024 Chengdu completed the bridge construction. Situated in the International Airport New Town, located in Chengdu's East New District, the Jiangxi Three-Lanes Bridge serves as a critical transportation link for the main venue of the Expo 2024 Chengdu.

The Jiangxi Three-Lanes Bridge is designed to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing. With a total length of 248 meters and six lanes in both directions, the bridge features a top structure composed of prefabricated T-beams and a lower structure supported by pile-column piers and embedded abutments.

According to the project's management, the bridge's design is rooted in the "concealment" concept, ensuring the cross-section layout seamlessly integrates with the adjacent road section. This careful design allows for the swift passage of vehicles on the bridge while efficiently separating slow-moving traffic in the Jiangxi River ecological zone beneath it.

Throughout the construction process, the development team adhered to the principles of green and low-carbon construction. This approach involved optimizing the burial depth design of stormwater pipes, which, in turn, reduced the excavation and backfill requirements for pipe trenches and wellhead engineering. This approach not only decreased material consumption and construction costs but also significantly expedited the overall construction timeline.

In addition to these achievements, the Jiangxi Four-Lanes Bridge, commencing from the North Second Lane and extending to the Three Lanes Merge into One, is currently undergoing full-scale construction, with a full-line connection expected to be achieved by mid-November.

It is reported that the Jiangxi Three-Lanes Bridge project is set to complete the prefabricated beam installation by the end of this month, with all prerequisites for opening to traffic anticipated to be met by the end of December.
