World Horticultural Expo Express| Accelerating Progress! The Core Area of the Pidu Sub-Venue to Fully Unveil by Year's End

In recent days, another wave of milestones has illuminated the progress at the sub-venue! Let's cast our attention on the Pidu Sub-Venue, where structures are soaring from the ground, and transportation vehicles hustle to and fro. The Pidu Sub-Venue is forging ahead with construction work, poised to present its core area in its entirety by year's end.

Reportedly, the core area of the 2024 Chengdu World Horticultural Expo Pidu Sub-Venue is named Butterfly Villagespanning an area of 1.8 square kilometers. It includes projects such as the exhibition center, boutique hotels, the Spring Feast Garden Center, distinctive commercial streets, and a marriage and matchmaking service center.

According to on-site construction workers, The boutique hotels are currently undergoing the installation of the main steel structure for the accommodation section, with 45% of the total project volume completed. The exhibition center's concrete floor has been poured, and work is in progress for the reinforcing steel and formwork on the basement level, marking 40% completion of the overall project volume.

The supporting infrastructure for the agricultural service center has been successfully completed, and the primary construction phase of the technologically advanced smart farm is now progressing towards interior finishes.

The Spring Blossom Paradise, the first phase of the Spring Flower Marketcurrently stands as the largest floral distribution center in the western region. It plays a pivotal role in centralizing the exhibition, trading, and logistics services for horticultural products.

Throughout the duration of the 2024 Chengdu World Horticultural Expo, this venue will serve as a central hub for various essential functions, including hosting conferences, forums, receptions, commercial activities, and dining services. Additionally, it will feature exhibitions and events spotlighting the application and market expansion of Sichuan flower varieties, as well as innovative floral design, showcasing the significant accomplishments of Chengdu's flourishing floral industry in achieving high-quality development.

The Spring Feast Garden Center reached its architectural topping-out milestone at the end of March. Currently, the interior work for Building 1 (Units 1-9) is at 96% completion, while Building 2 (Units 10-11) is progressing steadily at 51% completion. It is expected that they will gradually enter trial operations by the end of the year.

The Spring Feast Garden Center is strategically designed to host a variety of businesses encompassing flowers, horticulture, floral culture, flower-inspired lifestyles, and pet-related services. Notably, the center has also inked agreements to introduce the Smart Holiday Hotel, boasting a total of 156 international standard guest rooms.
