As the special garden-making Competition of International Horticultural Exhibition 2024 Chengdu (the Expo)，the 2024 Chengdu Park City Garden Season and the 7th BFU International Garden-making Week (the Garden Season) opened on May 21 at the main venue of the Expo.

With the theme of “Park City, Beautiful Garden”, the Garden Season puts on show the bamboo structures that highlight the Expo’s concept of green and low-carbon development and the development philosophy of Chengdu as a park city. The Garden Season encourages the exhibitors to express their understanding of the theme of the competition with their garden designs made with bamboo and flowers as materials set up in limited areas to present the beauty of nature for visitors.

Exhibitors began their constructions after the opening of the competition, and the awarding ceremony will be held at the spot on the afternoon of May 24 following a selection of all garden designs on the morning of the same day. After that, there will be an opening ceremony of the exhibition, which will last till June 24.
