A thematic show of art works on ancient trees, Care of a Thousand Years, was held September 6-20 at the main venue of the International Horticultural Exhibition 2024 Chengdu (the Expo) in Chengdu Eastern New Area. On display of the event were some 130 art works by over 50 artists and photographers on the iconic ancient trees, communities of ancient trees and related floral species in China. Auxiliary programs, such as salons, experience sessions, were staged during the period.

The show was the first of its kind to be held in Chengdu.
