In the past half year, passengers from across the world in every China Eastern Airlines flight to Chengdu received the sincere invitation of Chengdu. "From the moment passengers board the flight, they can get the news that Chengdu is the host of the 2024 International Horticultural Exhibition." As partners of the Chengdu EXPO, the China Eastern Airlines and some of their domestic counterparts made great contributions to the promotion of the event in the past nearly 200 days.

The China Eastern Airlines, via its global network, played a key role in promoting the EXPO by way of promotional videos broadcast on its in-flight multimedia systems and dedicated promotional pages offered in its in-flight magazines. The airline well conveyed the EXPO’S theme "Park City, Beautiful Habitat" throughout the world. Additionally, special EXPO broadcasts were aired on all China Eastern Airlines flights arriving in Chengdu, letting over 2.4 million passengers know more and better about the EXPO's unique charm. The official China Eastern Airlines App also launched EXPO Zone, offering exclusive benefits such as discounted tickets, additional baggage allowances, and flexible ticket changes for individuals and groups. During the EXPO, the EXPO Zone garnered over 800,000 views, and more than 80,000 travelers benefited from special EXPO-related products and services.

The Sichuan Airlines centered on the theme "Flying with Sichuan Airlines to Experience the EXPO," creating an immersive atmosphere, integrating diverse resources and modes of brand promotion, and offering various popular marketing gifts. Throughout the 186-day EXPO, the airline's fleet of over 200 aircraft had been actively involved in promoting this event. Unique messages about the EXPO were broadcast repeatedly, and relevant promotional videos were shown over 1,000 times a day. In-flight magazines featuring dedicated EXPO contents and the airline’s lounges at the Chengdu Shuangliu and Tianfu international airports continuously displayed EXPO promotional videos over 200 times every day, significantly enhancing passengers’ impression of the EXPO.

During the opening of the EXPO, the Chengdu Airlines launched a themed cabin program themed "Crossing the Blue Sky and White Clouds to Meet at the Chengdu EXPO" on the Yueyang-Chengdu Shuangliu and Urumqi-Chengdu Shuangliu routes. During the EXPO, the airline initiated a variety of promotional events and programs, and launched their EXPO-themed flights. These moves and actions offered unique perspectives to understand the EXPO, letting the outside world know more and better about Chengdu and its people. In addition, the airline provided in-flight reading materials featuring the EXPO and showed promotional videos, and kept broadcasting the EXPO’s theme song. Through a multi-sensory approach, all information about the EXPO were seamlessly incorporated into passengers’ flight experience.
